Kalojam

Kalo jam is a popular South Asian sweet, particularly in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. It’s a variant of Gulab Jamun, characterized by its darker, almost black, appearance due to longer frying time. The sweet is made from chhena (a type of fresh cheese) or a dough of milk powder, flour, and other ingredients, deep-fried, and then soaked in a fragrant sugar syrup.
